scrbbl-newsubmit a scrobble

scrbbl new [option ...] artist title [at]

scrbbl-new submits a new scrobble.

This is a scrbbl(1) command.

This command requires login. See scrbbl-login(1) for how to login.

The arguments are as follows:

artist
Artist.
title
Track title.
[at]
Time of the scrobble. If not provided, the current time is used.

The time format is ISO, for example '2026-01-01T00:00:00', but more specific parts can be ommited, for example all of '2026', '2026-01', '2026-01-01' and '2026-01-01 00:00' are valid and the same as the previous example. Time spans such as '1month5days12hours' are also supported, they can also be shortened like '1M5d12h'. Defaults to local timezone.

The options are as follows:

album
Album. If unspecified, scrobbles with no album.
artist
Album artist. If unspecified, the album artist is the same as the artist.

Add a new scrobble with the specified artist and title at the current time

scrbbl new foo bar

Add a new scrobble with the specified artist, title and album at the specified time

scrbbl new foo bar --album baz 12:34:56
